Backstory
It all started with a question as old as time – or at least as old as televised pickleball matches: do timeouts break your opponent’s “momentum”? Call me a skeptic, but I wasn’t convinced. And when I heard a commentator announce for the umpteenth time during a match – “what a strategic timeout that was!”… 🙄
I decided to answer that question myself with some good old fashioned data. Misery loves company and one question led to another – and another. Before I knew it the pklmart was born.
